Skatole (Boar stink)
Skatole is the foul smell of faeces. The smell is produced by certain microorganisms in the animal's gut, and it permeates the animal's milk, fat and meat.
Many countries don't like animal products that smell bad, so getting rid of it has been an object of research for many years.
The good news is that CH4GUARD not only diminishes methane and carbon dioxide emissions, it also reduces the smell of skatole, thus making animal products much more acceptable and marketable.

The chemical structure of Skatole. Surprisingly, it is a component in expensive perfumes, to give a "base note" in small quantities.
But you don't want it in meat and milk in large quantities. It stinks!
